Peach Garden Ala Carte Buffet at Thomson Plaza Food Review ~ Pixel Treats

I have always been a fan of Ala Carte Chinese Buffet served at Chinese Restaurants and how glad I was when I came to know that the Peach Garden at Thomson Plaza is throwing a 1 for 1 Promotion for its Ala Carte Chinese Buffet!

The pricing is at 48++ per 2 persons which is 56.50 net which works out to be only $28.20 per person! I would love to visit once more once I'm back from Costa Cruise!

Shark's Fin and Soup
Braised Shark's Fins with Crab Meat

Can you see the Shark's Fins that they gave? I think I probably ate 3 of such pieces!

Appetizer
Fried Crispy Egg Plant with Pork Floss - Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Chilled Smoked Duck with Sliced Mango - for people who likes cold dish :)

Fried Carrot Cake with X.O Sauce - better than those in hawker! We had 2 servings of this!

Chilled Century Egg with Preserved Ginger

Seafood
Steamed Egg with Fresh Clam - hehe only 5 pathetic clams :(

Stir-fried Live Prawn with Spring Onion and Ginger - tasted so-so, not as fresh.

Fried Prawn with Wasabe Salad Cream - my favourite! We had 2 servings of this!

Steamed Sea Bass with Minced Garlic And Superior Soya Sauce - this seabass was huge and the meat were tender and soft!

Meat
Stir-fried Kurobuta Pork Cube with Sliced Garlic

Sauteed Sliced Venison with Black Pepper - loves for this! Soft and tender!

Baked Pork Chop with Chef's Special Sauce

Deep-fried Crispy Chicken in 'Thai Style' - so-so only.

Stir-fried Sliced beef with Fresh Mushroom and Capsicum - good!

Vegetable
Poached Local Spinach with Fresh Gluten Puff in Superior Stock - spinach not those soft types we usually were served. Puff was too hard. Do not order.

Stir-fried French Beans with Minced Meat - good but a lil' salty for my liking.

Rice and Noodle
Fried Noodle with Diced Seafood in Superior Soya Sauce - 2 thumbs up!!

Fried Rice with Baby Abalone - hehe I am amused by the size of the abalone and it is just plain fried rice. Would not order again

Deep fried Red Tilapia in Thai sauce - not nice

Fried ''Udon'' with Seafood in Black Pepper Sauce - same taste as Fried Noodle but Fried Noodle tasted nicer!

Dessert
Chilled 'Longan' with Almond Beancurd
Chilled Mango with Sago and Pomelo
Chilled Jelly Royale with Julienne of Coconut - all were good but special mention to the Chilled Jelly Royale with Julienne of Coconut for its uniqueness!
