Embarkation
Level 1 is for people who wish to check-in their luggage and Level 2 is for people who has no luggage check-in. Spoke briefly to the staffs and they said that the earliest timing to go onboard at Level 2 (without luggage check-in) is at 540PM unless you check-in your luggage.
We reached at 4PM and for my parents who check-in their luggage at Level 1, they were given a queue number of 4 which means they could depart at 5:20PM. I got a queue number of 15 which means i could only depart at 540PM. Tried to ask if we could go onboard at the same time as a family but were denied entry :(
Make sure you have the following documents with you for check-in
(1) Passport
(2) Cruise Ticket - to print beforehand for smooth check-in
(3) Completed Health Form - which they will give you when you take a queue number
After your number is called, you could proceed to the Cruise check-in for departure.
Our check-in procedure took just a short 2 minutes as web check-in was done a few days before the trip!
Web Check-in:
Here's some step by step guide on web check-in:
(1) Go to Costa Victoria website for check-in by keying in your first name, surname and booking reference number
(2) Look under MYCRUISE > Web Check-in
(3) Fill in all the details here:
(4) You may download your cruise ticket here. Look under MYCRUISE> Cruise Ticket
(5) You may also reserve your dinner at either Sinfornia or Fantasia restaurant for Ala Carte Dining
You may check your dinner timings by the second day where they will give you a dining card for the venue and the table number. Not to worry if you were not seated with your friends or families as they will accommodate your requests for the dinner on the next day.
Costa cards:
You can proceed to your cabin rooms straight after you go on-board as the Costa cards will be placed in your cabin. After which, you may register your Costa cards at the Credit card machines immediately.
Disembarkation:
There will be a briefing for disembarkation the night before you disembark but all the necessary information are found on TODAY Daily Program as well. Here are some important information from TODAY that you need to take note.
Passport Distribution:
There is no queue at all when you collect the passports and you can ask your family member to collect for you even if you are not from the same cabins. Just note that at least 1 Costa card is required for collection of 2 passports in the room.
Disembarkation Procedure:
You will get 2 coloured luggage tags the night before you disembark. You may refer to the Disembarkation Procedure found in the TODAY Daily Program.
Other important information:
Luggage Deposit:
Good thing that you can deposit your luggage for free after you leave your cabin at 10am and you may collect it anytime before disembarkation or after your lunch! You will be given a Luggage tag number corresponding to your luggage tag.
The queue to deposit at 10AM is pretty long though.
