Costa Victoria Cruise 2016 Review - Embarkation and Disembarkation from Cruise to Phuket

I LOVE PHUKET! <3

Costa Staff will place TODAY Daily Program in your room the night before they reach Phuket and these are the important information:

It was stated that queue starts at 945AM for tender boat tickets from Cruise to shore for those who do not want to take part in excursions. However, there was already a long queue at just 9AM!

We got a Number 7 for Tender Boat Ticket and you would be seated in the Festival Theatre until your number is called to go onboard the Tender Boat. You would have to climb quite a bit of stairs down and for those who require special assistance, do not worry as you can take the lift too!

Tender Boats:

It was very smooth and I have no seasick at all! I am very prone to motion sickness and fortunately, this tender boat was quite alright!

Scenery:

This was taken from the Cruise Ship to Patong beach.

Patong Beach:

Just looking at these pretty beaches make me a happy girl!

The tender boat ride was just a short 20 minutes and you need to walk for about 2 minutes to the beach from the place where the tender boat alighted you and another 15 minutes to the main shopping area. There are a lot of taxi drivers, mini buses and tuk tuk who would like to fetch you around Phuket. My parents and their friends opted for a mini bus that seats 12 people at just 1500 baht for a round trip to Cashew and Honey factory, Massage and a shopping place.

My friends and I decided to explore around Phuket instead and I am so happy we did! The shopping experience was eventful despite the rain. Bought a pair of slippers at 150Baht, singlets at 120/100 Baht and a Superman T Shirt at just 295 Baht from the shopping mall which I am so in love with! <3 It was raining heavily when we go ashore and we managed to buy a Poncho at 7Eleven nearby and this is how it looks like for just 26baht:

Here are some places you could go if you were to take their rides:

Street views:

Actually we looked around for toilets and 24 hrs McDonalds has pretty decent toilets around in Phuket.

Food:

7Eleven:

Restaurants:

You can refer to the pricing by clicking on the images!

Disco Pub:

This pub is very huge and it is filled with people even just during afternoon times. A lot of poles for pole dancer I guess? I was so scared that I walked away fast :P

Jungceylon & Big C Extra:

Big C Supermart:

It is so intriguing that you can bring fresh meats/seafood to the people at the Supermarket to grill for you on the spot! I wanted to try the seafood and the bread here but we thought that cruise would have better food! :P

On our way back to the cruise, many bars/pubs just opened for business and we thought it would not be safe for 2 girls to walk around at night. The tender boats from shore to cruise would go off once the boat is fully filled! We had an eventful day at Phuket which we disembark at 945AM and only back at 530PM =P

I love Phuket because of all the shopping and the pretty beaches! I noticed that there are a lot of shells on the beach so be careful!
