Costa Victoria Cruise 2016 Review - Overview

My family and I were on a 6 days 5 nights trip onboard Costa Victoria to Phuket and Malacca. Overall, a worthwhile trip for its pricing but if you can afford just a little more, go for Royal Carribean Mariner of the Seas. The food, water, exteriors, service and activities at Royal Carribean were just so much better as compared to Costa Victoria.

The best I could recall from my Costa Victoria experience was the Pizza for Supper! The chocolate and custard donuts were pretty good too. Oh yes, and the complimentary lobster which you can only order once on the last night. Other than that, the movies and activities were quite boring though. I love to stay on cruises to relax instead of going ashore but the activities were too boring for me that I decided to go ashore to Phuket and Malacca.

Overview of Costa Victoria:

Costa Victoria debuted in 1996 and went through a refurbishment in 2004 in which 246 balconies were added on Decks 9-11, together with an extension of buffet terrace and promenades on Deck 11. She also underwent a refit in November 2013 in which her staterooms are accustomed to a more modern Italian design. She can also accomodate 1928 passengers, inclusive of 766 crews. She is 252m in length and has 12 decks altogether and can move at a speed of 43km/h.

There are 964 cabins in total, including 242 with private balcony and 20 suites, 4 with private balcony. There are also five restaurants, including Club II Magnifico which is by reservation and is chargeable, together with 10 other bars.

I took about 800 photos onboard Costa Victoria Cruise and would be separating my posts into various sections for easy reference:
