Costa Victoria Cruise 2016 Review - Embarkation and Disembarkation from Cruise to Malacca

We had high expectations of alighting at Malacca, and in particular my mum who wants to try all the good food there! However, to our disappointment, there is only one Shopping Centre nearby which is Plaza Merdeka. You need a taxi or a tuk tuk to get to Chinatown for all the goodies and good food!

Perhaps it is worthwhile to get down only if you need WIFI which are available at McDonalds, Starbucks, Nando's etc (which you can find in the map with the WIFI symbol below). The Nando's here is 3X cheaper than Singapore's but we were too full to eat anything :( Oh ya, there is a GIANT in the shopping centre too and we only got ice cream there at 40 cents per stick as there were not much things to buy though :X

Similarly, TODAY Daily Program states that you can queue for your tender boat tickets at 1PM but there were already a long queue at 12PM. Here are some important information for you to note:

Tender Boat:

The tender boat from Cruise ship to Malacca was very old, shaky, non-ventilated and I took seasick medicine just in case I have motion sickness. The tender boat back was quite alight. I guess it depends on luck?

Cute Trishaws:

Are you able to find your favorite character trishaw?
