Pocket Maplestory - Tips & Tricks

1. Easy Mesos (2 methods)
(Updated on Oct 2016)
A. The best and the fastest way is to do the 1st map of lvl 118 dungeon (Ruins of the Corrupted Temple). Each monster gives you about 2-4k mesos per kill! You can just clear the first map and exit within seconds to get about 30k mesos. Repeating this process can yield millions of mesos quickly! This however, requires a high level character that is able to clear the lvl 118 dungeon quickly for the best result.

B. Another method (For low lvl characters) is to buy as many lvl 1 weapon (cost 480 mesos each) from the Equipment Merchant in the beginner town. Fuse 2 of these weapon to get a random equipment of higher levels. Sell these equipment and you can yield about 10k+ mesos in a short time!

Alternatively, create an Angelic Buster and equip her with a HP Recovery Ring. Have her farm Dim Spirit Stones from monsters and craft as many lvl 1 magic (blue) equipment. Fuse 2 of these equipment and sell high level equipment to the Equipment Merchant for profit! This method can even net you a good lvl 130+ magic (blue) equipment for your characters!

2. Play without Potions
Play without the need for potions by enhancing your level 24 rings, earrings and necklace to at least +4. This will provide you with free HP, HP and MP regeneration which works very well from level 1-120. Each Enhancement Scroll I only cost 5k mesos which is worth the investment and they can be used by all your low level characters! A detailed video guide can be seen here:
It is also worth it to cube each accessories. I have personally cube each +4 accessories 6 times and have used it for my 7 characters! You can use them till you got your hands on the level 120 Legendary yellow accessories!

3. Free Teleport
Register and keep at least 1 repeatable quest for each map. You can travel to these areas without the need for specific Town Scrolls, thus saving mesos and inventory space. Just click "Move Now" from your quest list to the desired area and use your Return Scroll!

Monster Curry Food Review

I walked passed VivoCity the other day and saw that the plate on the tables at Monster Curry were bigger than a person's head and that's when I decided to head down and try their dishes!

It's funny how they have different levels of spiciness and being the dare-devil I am, I decided to ask for 5 X Spiciness! However, when the Big Fried Fish Monster Curry arrives and after trying just a teeny bit, I decided to reduce the spiciness to just 3 X! And then I realized I prefer the curry more than the chilli mixed with curry and I decided to throw the parts with Chilli aside as the chilli takes away all of the curry taste.

Big Fried Fish Curry - the fish is grilled to perfection!
VERY BIG piece of fish for just $13!
Chicken Katsu Curry

They have some ongoing promotions at specific outlets and you guys can check it out!

Yum Cha Weekday High Tea Buffet Food Review at Trengganu Street

I was thinking of where to bring my family for Father’s day. Browsed through Groupon but could not find any that is to the liking of my father. My father is very much into Congee and I thought of bringing him for congee buffet, but then again it seemed such a cheap idea for Father’s day.

I’m glad I found the Yum Cha Weekday High Tea Ala-Carte Buffet on Q10 where they serves 7 types of congee altogether! Of course, it had to be accompanied with many other steamed dim sum, fried dim sum, rice roll, side dishes and desserts! Price in Q10 is not a lot cheaper than the usual price though, just that you do not have to pay the GST. Chinese tea is included as well and they give very generous portions of scallops and prawns! Usually dim sum give small tiny prawns but Yum Cha gives big prawns!

It was pretty hard to get to the place though as it’s located on the second storey. Nonetheless, I am amazed with the service as orders were placed on time, waiting time was short and they have a wide range of varieties! I feel Yum Cha is even better than the High Tea Buffet at Peach Garden!

Their specialities include: Xiao Long Bao, Shark’s fin with Meat Dumpling (you can really taste the Shark’s fins!), Scallop Pea-Shoot Dumpling (they really serve whole scallop), Squid Ink Dumpling, Prawn and Mango Sesame Fritters, Paper Chicken Wings, 7 congees, Double Boiled Soup (1 serving only) and Chilled Mango Pudding.

- I was expecting to be 'WOW-ed' by this dish but guess what? No, I'm not.

Chilled Mango Pudding- Really awesome!
Herbal Jelly- Authentic Herbal Jelly; bitter though
Lemongrass jelly with fruits - a little too sour for my liking

Red Bean Paste with Lotus Seed, Coconut Sago

NunKkot-Korean Dessert Cafe Food Review at Sin Ming Centre

There had been so much craze about Korean food and desserts these days thanks to Kdrama! I’m the typical girl who goes crazy over Korean food and here am I trying out NunKkot at Thomson Village! I was wondering what the meaning of NunKkot is and I found out that it meant 'Ice Flower'. What a beautiful and sweet name for a cafe!
Tucked in a small and cozy corner of Upper Thomson Road, I would prefer to have my catch-up session with friends here instead at the bustling Udders or Salted Caramel. However, the air-conditioned seats are limited though as the shop is really small.

I saw this Bingsu deal on Groupon and as it was an impromptu decision to head over after dinner, I called to ask if it could be redeemed on mobile. It was a pleasant surprise to know that they are having a 1 for 1 promotion which is a better deal than Groupon! The portion was pretty huge and serves 2 person per bingsu. The waiting time were really long but if you’re here for a catch-up session with your friends, then no hurries! They would wind down the curtains whilst preparing and I guess they do have some trade secrets? Then again, it was hard to call for them and you have to wait for them before placing orders as they have limited staffs.

Mango Berry Bingsu

Mango Cheesecake Bingsu

Choco Brownie Bingsu
(They do not have brownie and serves us more ice cream instead)

Oreo Bingsu
Overall, I feel that the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu is the BEST as the cheesecake was really rich and authentic!
