There had been so much craze about Korean food and desserts these days
thanks to Kdrama! I’m the typical girl who goes crazy over Korean food and here
am I trying out NunKkot at Thomson Village! I was wondering what the meaning of
NunKkot is and I found out that it meant 'Ice Flower'. What a beautiful and
sweet name for a cafe!
Tucked in a small and cozy corner of Upper Thomson Road, I would prefer to have my catch-up session with friends here
instead at the bustling Udders or Salted Caramel. However, the air-conditioned
seats are limited though as the shop is really small.
I saw this Bingsu deal on
Groupon and as it was an impromptu decision to head over after dinner, I called
to ask if it could be redeemed on mobile. It was a pleasant surprise to know
that they are having a 1 for 1 promotion which is a better deal than Groupon!
The portion was pretty huge and serves 2 person per bingsu. The waiting time
were really long but if you’re here for a catch-up session with your friends,
then no hurries! They would wind down the curtains whilst preparing and I guess
they do have some trade secrets?
Then again, it was hard to call for them and you have to wait for them before
placing orders as they have limited staffs.
Mango Berry Bingsu
Overall, I feel that the Mango Cheesecake Bingsu is the BEST as the cheesecake was really rich and authentic!
