STREET 50 Restaurant & Bar - Dining at Bay Hotel Food Review ~ Pixel Treats

As I strive to explore much of restaurants listed on eatigo's app, I brought my family here as we are lovers of Fish Head Curry! As the portions for other dishes were pretty small, we decided to order three claypots of Fish Head to satisfy our craving!

Curry Fish Head - $18.90
The Curry Fish Head tasted much better than Assam Fish Head.
Even without eatigo's discounts, their Curry Fish Head only costs $18.90 which is cheaper than outside Zi Char stalls which charges minimally $22! The portion is the same as what you get in Zi Char stalls in coffeeshop and that they are so much more generous with their vegetables servings!

2nd Curry Fish Head - $18.90

Claypot Assam Fish Head - $18.90
Assam Fish Head is pretty diluted and does not have much flavor compared to Curry Fish Head.

Would be good to have prata to go with the curry though as it has a distinct Indian Curry taste! That being said, as we usually indulge in Curry Fish Head the Singporean style, we were not able to finish the pot of curry.

Leftover tomatoes:

They were so generous with their servings of vegetables - brinjal, lady fingers, long beans and tomatoes that we had leftovers!

Salted Egg Lava Chicken Breast- $9.90

This was their signature dish. Unique but nothing special.

Shrimp & Onion Omelete - $7.90

Kang Kong Belacan - $7.90
Very small portion served with Ikan bilis. Too dry too :(

Rice - $2
As their rice is $2 per plate, that's how they decorate the rice! :P

2nd Fresh Coconut Malibu - $8.90:

Buttermilk Waffle & Ice Cream: $7.90
Waffle doesn't seemed to be made on the spot :(

Chocolate Brownie Ala Mode: $7.90

Amongst all the desserts, the Coconut Malibu was the best served with a small tiny cup of coconut juice! Can you imagine we only paid $80 for all the dishes with eatigo's app!?
