Pocket Maplestory - Shade Build

Shade is the 9th class to be released in Pocket Maplestory. Despite Shade’s long hair, Shade is actually a guy! Most of his skills are passive which will activate whenever you use normal attacks or skill attacks. As Shade has poorer mobility compared to other classes., it is best to make use of the Auto-combat ‘teleport’ or the Contract Space skill while training or travelling. Shade normal/skill attacks can activate his passive, summoning fox spirit or weakening monsters. He is a good tank with high defense and HP leeching.

However, the disadvantage of Shade is the lack of AoE skills. His two larger AoE skills have a cooldown of about 20 seconds.

Extra tips: As shade do not have high melee damage, auto-combat is slow till level 108 when you get your 4th job passive skills. If you plan to auto-combat all the way, it is recommended to get a fashion weapon (cost at least 4000 candies) which will boost your Attack by 36 and Critical Attack Rate by 4. Always enhance your weapon to maximize your damage. Be sure to be in a guild for guild buffs. They give bonus stats and Attack %! 

Players who rather play themselves will not have any 'slow' leveling issue! Shade's Blade Imp skills are able to 1-hit-KO every monster!

Skills Explanation:
Basic Job
Skill Name
Explanation
Close Call
10% chance of protecting you when your HP falls below 1! It has a cooldown of 15 mins though!
Contract Space
Teleport you to a nearby enemy! Moves you forward by 30 spaces if there is no enemy in range.
Spirit Bond 1
Restores 1% HP for each successful hit and permanently decrease damage taken by 20%.
1st Job – 22 SP
Cosmic Balance
Throw remaining 2 skill points here.
Flash Fist
Prerequisite
Vulpes Leap
You can add 2 points here instead of Cosmic Balance. However, I feel that it doesn’t work well as a mobility skill.
2nd Job – 50 SP
Fox Spirit
Prerequisite. A passive that gives you 10% chance to summon a fox spirit whenever you attack or use a skill. The fox spirit will deal damage to the enemy you’re attacking.
Knuckle Mastery
Prerequisite. A passive that adds 10% Mastery and 12 Accuracy.
Spirit Bond 2
Prerequisite. A passive that adds 30 Accuracy, 30 Avoidability, 20 Attack Speed and 20 Movement Speed.
Blade Imp – Downward Slash
Prerequisite.
Blade Imp – Forward Slash
Prerequisite.
3rd Job – 70 SP
Spirit Bond 3
Prerequisite. A passive that boost your Attack by 40! This is a huge boost for auto-combating.
Weaken
Prerequisite. A passive that gives you 10% chance to inflict 20% more Damage and decreases enemy’s Attack (20%) and Evasion (40%) for 15 sec.
Blade Imp – Spin Slash
Prerequisite. Great for clearing monsters for quests.
Spirit Frenzy
Prerequisite. Do remember to hold the skill button to do more damage and enlarge the AoE radius!
4th Job – 130 SP
Fire Fox Spirit Mastery
Passive that gives you 20% chance to summon a fire fox spirit to do more damage to your enemy. With this, you can auto-combat way quicker!
Spirit Bond 4
Passive that adds 20% Critical Rate and 30% Attack against bosses.
High Quality Knuckle Mastery
Passive that adds Mastery and Critical Attack Damage.
Spirit Claw
Your main DPS skill with no cooldown!
Death Mark
An AoE skill that does Damage-Over-Time and restores your HP!
