Starbucks Holiday Beverages Return with Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte and Toffee Nut Latte

Starbucks fans rejoice! Starbucks returned with Christmas Festive Drinks 1-1 promotion from 31st Oct to 4 Nov 2016 (3 to 8pm)! 

Pardon me for indulging in the season of joy and giving when December had not yet arrived! I am already so excited over Christmas- about baking Gingerbread, Log cakes, roasting turkeys and many more! It's never too early for X'mas I guess?

I am so in love with Christmas and I thought the Starbucks Festive drinks will spice up the Christmas mood at home and so I bought 2 sets in order to have a taste of each flavour. Indeed, it kicks my family off talking about how we spent our Christmas last year and how we intend to spend it this year! Do note that this 1-1 promotion will be limited to 2 orders per customer. For people who are more health conscious, you might just give the whipped cream a try as the toppings really goes well with the Frappuccino!

Toffee Nut Latte

If I were to describe it in a sentence: this would be the most comforting drink in town!

How Starbucks Describes it: Rich, buttery notes of sweet toffee is combined with the warmth of toasted nuts and blended with smooth espresso and velvety steamed milk. It is then topped with fluffy whipped cream and toffee nut sprinkles.
Our Verdict: I love this the most out of the three as this is the most refreshing one out of all. The toffee nut sprinkles were my favourite and the combination with Toffee and toasted nuts was perfect! 

Chocolaty Peppermint Mocha

If I were to describe it in a sentence: this would be a cool drink in town!

How Starbucks Describes it: Evoke warm memories of your childhood with this holiday classic. Bright peppermint notes dance with rich mocha sauce and is topped with whipped cream, a dash of mocha drizzle and crunchy red and white candy bits.
Our Verdict: The crisp red and white candy bits make me feel like I am holidaying on Christmas! Accompanied with the dark chocolaty sauce and fresh peppermint flavours, it really brightens your holiday mood and make you feel like you’re flying! 

Gingerbread Latte

If I were to describe it in a sentence: this would be a crazy drink in town!

How Starbucks Describes it: Sweet and delicately spicy gingerbread flavours mingle with classic espresso and steamed milk. The drink is finished with a spice-infused whipped cream and a brown sugar drizzle for the perfect holiday touch.
Our Verdict: Gingerbread fans, you are in for a good treat! The first impression I had was, ‘WOW, it really is amazing how the drink tasted so much like the real gingerbread itself! It really is a unique flavour, blended perfectly for Gingerbread lovers! However, I feel that the gingerbread taste was too strong for a drink although it really stirred up the merry moods of Christmas.
