Korean Fusion BBQ at Dunlop Street Food Review

Craving for some midnight BBQ or some catching up over the night with your friends?
Korean Fusion BBQ at Dunlop Street is the place to go!

I came across this awesome place through the eatigo app which offers further discounts. The Place was well ventilated and the air condition was strong enough for the place that you would not feel stuffy at all! It gives me a very homely feel and the staffs were all very polite and helpful!

Very neat and clean Korean BBQ place! Two thumbs up to Korean Fusion BBQ!

It is pretty hard to find the place and here is a map I took from their facebook to share with you:

Look out for their Signboard (Level 2)!

For Ice Cream, they have:
(1) Thai Milk Tea
(2) Double Chocolate
(3) Coconut
(4) Lime sherbet
I am so in love with their Thai Milk Tea and Coconut ice cream! I had 3 scoops of each :X Sinful much!

Their waffle was really good! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside!
Their staffs were very friendly and they would help you out with making of the waffle!

In case you are too shy to ask: you may like to follow these steps:
(1) Turn on the switch and Pre-heat for 5 minutes using the timer
(2) Once the timer goes off, coat both the top and bottom of the waffle maker with the butter provided
(3) Stir the waffle mix using the chopstick provided and pour them on the waffle maker

(4) After closing the lid, turn the Waffle maker 180 degrees clockwise
(5) Set the timer again for another 5 minutes
TADA you'll have a perfect waffle! Top it up with Ice Cream!

Original position of the timer:

Turn it to 5!

Their waffle would be stucked like this on the upper layer when it's cooked and you just have to pull it down!

Here are the price and information of the Korean Fusion BBQ:

Perhaps you should be aware that the meats are mostly frozen- the chicken in particular as all the food were placed in a freezer-like place with temperature being monitored. As such, you might need to make sure that your food are thoroughly cooked and try not to make them charred!

One thing that I did not like about this BBQ was that the bulgogi beef has way too much fats which were very different from those at Ssikkek BBQ or DaeSsikSin. Even though the cooked food were limited to only Tteok-bokki, I am already satisfied with the vast varieties of meat they offer at such affordable price!

Other than my rants about the frozen meats and the fats from the beef itself, I would still recommend this place to all, especially if you have the eatigo app! Oh, and they do not charge for GST but Service is chargeable though!

I'm thinking of bringing my family there next week again! The lady boss is really friendly and smiley!

*Update*
2nd Trip on 14 April - Good Friday
I went on a second trip and I am disappointed with the quality of their prawns.

Do note that it would not be grey prawns all the time!

  1. Hi Ms Momoko, thank you for your wonderful write up. Apologized that we did not highlight the prawn is 海虾(Hai Sia) which we personally went to fishery port to purchased them. This batch of prawns has its original 'sea'juicy taste compared to the frozen freshwater prawn. No doubt the look of the prawns were not as presentable as the freshwater prawn. It does not give mushy flesh after cooked.Meaning the meat is still firm. I personally tried them even with the darkening of the prawns. Btw, you are correct that we don't always serve grey prawns as we depend on what we can get from the fishery port. Thank you for your understanding and hope to see you again.

    Best Regards,
    Shan
