Mercedes Build Guide (For Fast Dojo Clear Rate)

Mercedes is the 7th class to be released in Pocket Maplestory. She is one of the best class for Dojo, even better than Angelic Buster due to her Ishtar’s Ring skill. Although there are many other viable fun builds for Mercedes, the most common yet deadly build revolve around Ishtar’s Ring. Even though Mercedes’ DPS is high, she have very poor defense without VIP buffs. Hence, I added 1 Strength for every 2 Dexterity for more survivability during leveling and Auto-Combating. Mercedes shines at level 108 after changing to her 4th Job where we will get to spend most of our skill points on.

I use Strike Dual Shot whenever Ishtar’s Ring is on cooldown. You might wonder why this skill is used when there’s an upgraded version – Advanced Strike Dual Shot. Strike Dual Shot actually does more damage than Advanced Strike Dual Shot due to Ishtar’s Ring passive which adds 70% more damage to Strike Dual Shot.

In this video, you can kill about 70% of all the monsters in the map before they re-spawn again. You will need VIP buffs and/or high defense purple level 130 gears to do this though. For non-VIP players, you can level quickly by doing the same method after defeating King Pepe and staying in the same map. As long as you do not move out of the map, your character will be immune to any damage from monsters.

Marche Food Review

Always heard the hype over Marche and the long queues outside when it first launched in Sinagpore. Recently went to Marche and was totally amazed and stunned by its layout! Totally looked as if you're in Perth Market or something!

Ajisen Ramen Food Review

I just googling how to cook Ajisen Ramen soup as I'm craving for some hot soup in this cold weather! However, found out that the authetic Ramen soup needs 2 days to be ready!

Then decided to head down to Ajisen Ramen for some soup craving! I literally went 'WOW' when i had their soup! But note do not order seafood Tom Yam as it tasted no difference from normal Tom Yam Soup. You should try Authentic Ajisen Ramen soup which needs 2 days of preparation time!

Cocobolo Poolside Restaurant BBQ Buffet Food Review

Futher to my post on Cocobol Poolside restaurant in August 2015, I have decided to give it a visit again! 

Unfortunately, the standards seemed to have dropped since then. The lamb and steak were raw but the squid seemed to have improved in taste and fortunately the gigantic prawns and much loved sausages are still there! They no longer serves mushroom soup, only potato soup. The chocolate cake I used to indulge in is no longer here anymore :(  Not sure if it has to do with the day you visit though.

Pocket Maplestory - Tips & Tricks

1. Easy Mesos (2 methods)

A. The best and the fastest way is to do the 1st map of lvl 118 dungeon (Ruins of the Corrupted Temple). Each monster gives you about 2-4k mesos per kill! You can just clear the first map and exit within seconds to get about 30k mesos. Repeating this process can yield millions of mesos quickly! This however, requires a high level character that is able to clear the lvl 118 dungeon quickly for the best result.

B. Another method (For low lvl characters) is to buy as many lvl 1 weapon (cost 480 mesos each) from the Equipment Merchant in the beginner town. Fuse 2 of these weapon to get a random equipment of higher levels. Sell these equipment and you can yield about 10k+ mesos in a short time!

Alternatively, create an Angelic Buster and equip her with a HP Recovery Ring. Have her farm Dim Spirit Stones from monsters and craft as many lvl 1 magic (blue) equipment. Fuse 2 of these equipment and sell high level equipment to the Equipment Merchant for profit! This method can even net you a good lvl 130+ magic (blue) equipment for your characters!

2. Play without Potions

Play without the need for potions by enhancing your level 24 rings, earrings and necklace to at least +4. This will provide you with free HP, HP and MP regeneration which works very well from level 1-120. Each Enhancement Scroll I only cost 5k mesos which is worth the investment and they can be used by all your low level characters! A detailed video guide can be seen here:

It is also worth it to cube each accessories. I have personally cube each +4 accessories 6 times and have used it for my 7 characters! You can use them till you got your hands on the level 120 Legendary yellow accessories!

3. Free Teleport

Register and keep at least 1 repeatable quest for each map. You can travel to these areas without the need for specific Town Scrolls, thus saving mesos and inventory space. Just click "Move Now" from your quest list to the desired area and use your Return Scroll!
